Double Click
A double click (or double-click) is when your mouse registers two rapid clicks instead of a single intended click when you press a mouse button.
How to Test Mouse Buttons for Double-Click Issues?
- Select a Button to Test
- Left button (primary)
- Right button (context menu)
- Scroll wheel/middle button (if available)
- Additional side buttons (for gaming mice)
- Begin Testing
- Click the “Click Here to Test” button using your selected mouse button
- Perform 15-20 clicks per button for reliable results
- Analyze Results
- If false double-clicks are detected, the button will highlight in red
- Each button’s count appears separately in the “Double Clicks” field
- Switch to Next Button
- Simply start clicking with a new button — the counter will automatically track new presses
- Press “Reset” only when you need to completely clear all results
Testing Recommendations
- Test buttons at different click speeds (slow and fast)
