Tone Generator

This generator creates a continuous audio signal with a sine, square, triangle, or sawtooth waveform. You can select a frequency from 1 Hz to 22,050 Hz, adjust volume and stereo balance, and view the waveform or spectrum.

• Compare the timbre of different waveforms by ear.

• The generator is not a calibrated measuring instrument: output depends on the browser, audio device, and speakers or headphones.
• The tool does not diagnose hearing and does not replace a professional hearing test.
• Very low or high frequencies may not be reproduced by the equipment or perceived by the listener.
